World Map?

I'm wondering if there's a world map of Norrath around that has the actual zone outlines and whatnot all connected together and in proportion. Like if you took all of the in-game zone maps (or better yet, screenshots from above with some kind of dev device?) and linked them all together. I've never seen such a map for EQ but it would be neat.

Someone posted a cartoony map of antonica recently, dont remember where. Not sure what you mean, on top of the page the links show how all the zones are connected? Its not like you said (screenshots from above) but still works crudely.

This isn't what I meant. I don't seem to have explained this properly. What I mean is a map where you have the actual zone outlines, i.e. what they actually look like, not just rectangles with 'nektulos forest' written in them, and they're all to scale, and they're all connected right next to each other, so you really see Norrath as a big connected world. Something like this, but for EQ: http://www.vgmaps.com/Atlas/GBA/Pokemon-FL-Kanto.png

It could be done if you saved every map from EQAtlas and shopped them together. Back in the original EverQuest, I printed out every map of Antonica and taped them together, then went on a tour of Norrath. :)

that first link has kinda what you're after

http://www.eqmacwiki.com/eqatlas/santonicamap.html
http://www.eqmacwiki.com/eqatlas/wantonicamap.html

if you want better res, you can always use those as a template and copy each map into a larger image from the individual zone maps

the file would get quite large though

I like this idea. One issue with it is that the maps use different scales and not all of them are labeled (in terms of distance), but I might do some research and attempt it.

Edit: these maps aren't really optimal for this kind of endeavor, as they don't actually show the full extent of the zones and the exact borders (especially with coastlines).

EQ has square or rectangular zones

there are environmental features (mountains) that restrict movement within those zones but if you could fly over those they'd still be squares or rectangles.

try swimming out into the sea and you'll reach an invisible wall
