Ways to fix this Gamma/Darkness

I could get over the darkness w/e but playing in windowed mode with a 2nd monitor the gamma fix messes with DESKTOP gamma not just EQ.

What are some work arounds for this gamma issue.

F.lux (haven't used)

Altering your brightness on your graphics card settings... I adjust brightness in Nvidia Control Panel and it does not affect anything.

Opening a 2nd EQ window at server select will brighten to about 50% of what it was.

Anyone else got some good ideas?

Flux is what i have been using for almost a year (downloaded it because someone suggested it helped your eyes) And sure enough it definatly was worth it.. Trust me read the website it does what it says it does.

WinEQ2

turn Gamma Lock ON

change your EQ path to the correct EQ folder

Click WinEQ2.0 Default, load up EQ through wineq (not your desktop EQ icon)

voila, never need to redo it when zoning either.

excellent, I use WinEQ2 and this worked well.

It didn't brighten EQ up much but it left the desktop alone.

Yea I have problems with it getting super bright too, and staying like that.

It's funny, not one week ago I was sitting playing EQ and thinking:

You know what this game has too much of? Seeing stuff.
