Changing my account email
 

Does not seem to possible? I cancelled my domain and in about 3 weeks I will not be able to access my old email address anymore. Is there any way for you guys to change it? If not I guess I am gonna find a lucky necro, drop my gear on him and say farewell to P99 :D

Same. I petitioned about it but didn't get a reply. This was almost two months ago.

You don't have to quit because your email isn't valid anymore.

Are you talking about your EQemu associated email?
P99.com forum associated email?
Is your EMU account and P99.com forum account linked?

I have lost access to plenty of accounts before, because I lost access to the email, or they were deleted by providers..

the email address is tied to this forum account, which has a login server account associated with it via the system on this forum. Not connected to any eqemu accounts.

My best guess they won't change e-mails/admins won't respond is because they are trying to combat RMT (ermahgerd). Being unable to change e-mail addresses linked to accounts, forums accts, etc. would make it more difficult to change the password, etc.

If you know your password and don't share your account, you'll never need to change it and can rest easy that you're safe to continue.

Just make any new characters on a new account etc :p

Even if that is the reason, I have PMd a couple of people and I am not getting a response from anyone. The least they could do is tell me <fuck off RMT scum> or something along the lines, or that I am out of luck.

I know you do not state a personal opinion in this comment. But damn it all when the criminals start ruining the freedoms of the law abiding fucntioning members of the community. It is not right to take from the good to try and fight the bad. Infact it makes 0 sense.

I have a very simular problem as I have totally lost my info to the email most of my accounts are tied too. Annoying all that time invested, and I can't even simply change my email.

That is all I have to say about that.

Since I see no point in levelling a character I might lose access to in the future, I have decided to give away all my gear and cash. PM me if you want access to a naked 45 Necro

Can I have your stuff?

Could you make a gmail account and forward all your email to it? This is assuming your domain provider doesn't delete the email address you had and instead just denies you access to it.
