Game is too bright.

As a Barbarian without an active sight spell I was able to navigate through the tunnel between Everfrost and Blackburrow.

I ran through this tunnel hundreds of times in classic and it was completely pitch black except for about a foot around the torches.

The classic experience of taking 15 minutes to guess your way through this 10 foot tunnel is missing.

Please make the game darker.

Thank you.

You know. If you're bored. You could update your blog.

I want some more of that free content.

I remember my first character was a Erudite Necromancer. Once the sun went down in the Toxx Forest I couldn't see anything. There were dozens of us waiting at the guards for the sun to come back up. I tried fighting at dark once, lost my corpse and made a gnome instead.

One of my favorite classic memories was playing my Human Enchanter (2nd character I made) and sitting at the Qeynos gates at night during a thunder storm. Couldn't see a thing past the gate except when lightning flashed for a split second. I remember just sitting there watching, feeling the ultimate immersenessment.

The amount of immersion between these posts is huge. That is why I ClassicQuest.

I remember late night in Blackburrow you would get lost in certain stretches of tunnel without torches.

This is why the gamma change needs to be fine tuned and tested on multiple computers/setups instead of thrown out completely.

/This, first char was a erudite mage right after release, one month of blind running around, never finding corpses, before I switched to a dwarf Cleric and never looked back again.
