Crashing while camping
 

I can't really add anything else to this. About half the time, when I type /camp I instantly crash, with a windows error message. Launched right out of the game.

This is fairly new, last month or so.

Ideas? Solution?

You need to /sit before you /camp. Failure to do so will crash the game.

And get used to sitting first, because just camping is not classic.

The latest patch v36 fixes this. You're still running v34 or v35. Just update with the game fully closed.

This is still happening for me. I've applied v36 files. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the reply! I have a few times. Next step is to re-install if I care enough to worry about it. :) I can deal with crashing while camping most likely.

Crashing when /camp
 

I crash about half the time I /camp when trying to go to character select to change characters.

I always sit before /camp. Sometimes I can /camp 3 or 4 times in a row without crashing, then 3 or 4 times in a row it will crash. Any suggestions?

Not an issue for me anymore.

There was only one particular patch (the previous one or the one before that) that caused me to crash if I didn't /sit first.

If you're still experiencing this, that's pretty strange.

mropey, i think you're confused with the topic, and referring to a different issue where after you wait 30 seconds you'd expect to be sent to character select. but sometimes the entire game exits. OP's issue was due to a bad patch that they fixed. not the one your thinkin of
