I remember the /con for players being meaningful. The color for even con mobs was the same as even con PCs and yellow and blue players were also pvpable. Light Blue shouldn't exist and I don't believe red con players were pvpable. On this server it isn't easy to tell who is in pvp range without studying the color tone of the name which is non classic.

Pretty sure all pvpable players should be even con, blue, or yellow.

current system

name color

in range = red name
out of range = blue name

con text

in range = threatening or rdy 2 atk (aggressive)
out of range = indiff

/6pack out

As stated I'm pretty sure con text color should be the range indicator not the text itself and certainly not the non red name above people's chars.

But maybe it was con text color and a threatening /con and indif when red green con.

But I'm pretty sure the OP is right and only the /con color was indicative of pvpability.
