Mudwater Rune (Lambent Helm quest item)
 

Hey all -

I'm hoping someone who has done this quest can help me here. I'm looking for the mudwater rune that drops in CT. For two mornings now I've been clearing around the AoF pyramid (killing lots of fanatics and zealots) and still haven't seen a single rune drop.

Am I killing in the wrong place or is the rune just that rare?

I know it drops in 4c - not sure if this is the same place as AoF Pyramid but it's the pyramid north of the maze.

Saw about 5 drop off crusaders around AoF pyramid.

Again, ONLY dropped off crusaders, not sure if that's random chance or maybe just a higher drop ratio, but try crusaders.

I got one off a lizard in the crocodile pool area last week, I think it was a Zealot.

Ok, thanks. Sounds like I'm getting unlucky.

If one doesn't drop tomorrow I'm just going to buy a skull-shaped barbute and call it a week.

I am pretty sure I got one off a Lizard in the throne room too. I just dont remember what type.

I used to see them commonly while leveling around the throne room area off of trash lizards as well.

Seen plenty in the Throne Room courtyard off of trash.

this item's drop-rate needs to be revisited please, killing 100+ zealots/fanatics and not one drop is a bit unacceptable.
