so how does this work?

I turn in the Ring of the Ancients (the drop from AC, the hard part to get) first, then you turn in the shadowed rapier and the 3250 gold and Hasten gives you the boots.

Yeah, you just hand it to him, right? Meaning it basically adds it to his loot table. Then the other person does their turn in and wallah?

Yes, that is how it works. On a related note, there will be no MQ tonight (Friday the 24th) as it is my 24th birthday and I will be out getting hammered. If/when I wake up tommorow I'll be gtg.
