Catastrophic failure on Install
 

Hey I'm having trouble installing Everquest from torrents.

it crashes on the 3rd CD, and im using Daemon Tools Lite to mount them

i used http://www.project1999.org/forums/showthread.php?t=2651 for the install guide and http://isohunt.com/lite/files/118165...est%20titanium as the torrent.

I've re-downloaded that torrent twice with the same error on the same exact part. A buddy of mine gave me another torrent (thepiratebay, although probably the same torrent) and re-downloaded that twice with the same error at the same part.

I'm running Windows XP Professional. I have the required space/hardware to run the game / install it.

My XP is on the D: drive (due to prior partitions being all wierd) which is the only other problem i can see causing this, however its ALWAYS on the same file (see screen shot) and all the prior files (from cd1/2) are installed fine

my friend is going to give me his flashdrive with his installed (that worked correctly) incase i have some super fucking bad luck with torrents or something, but does anyone else know what might be causing that problem? google/searching these forums came up empty

soooooo am i allowed to bump this? not sure... didn't read the rules AS IM A TOTAL BADASS !!!!

Well I know People who used the torrent you're using so that's not the problem.

Try using a different virtual drive software maybe?
