Advice on PvP gear for noob Druid

Looking for advice because I am a noob regarding EQ Pvp. Until recently I had no money so I didn't bother to ask but I managed to get 5k by selling my blue Druids gear and trading plat. I am also starting to make money porting.

My current goal is to get my halfling druid to 39 then get my 39 dwarf cleric to 60 to try Pvp at higher levels on both classes.

Currently I have mostly leather / scale. Where possible I would like to invest in items that could work for both classes so I can trade back and forth. If I get sick of leveling the cleric switch to Pvp focus on the druid for a few days. If that's possible at all. I image some wis items could work for both?

Anyone put together guides on this topic that I could check out? If not maybe a few pointers? Anything at all is much appreciated.

Lol I did one quad there on blue and people got very upset after only like 5 minutes. I ended up just gating out cause it was so boring. Don't plan to try on red.

No reason to farm plat until you're 60. Levels > gear. Buying a lumi staff and/or ES vambraces not a bad way to spend the money though to help you level up. But those are mostly solo items and grouping is a lot faster then solo'ing now. I guess duo'ing quads with another lumi staff druid would be pretty damn fast since you get a big bonus just for having 1 person in the group w/ you.

Here are some examples to seek out.

Druid and/or cleric:
Wolf's Eye Golden Bracelet x2 (wrist) 7mr each - 75pp each from your local jeweler (perhaps my friend Cathan)
Cape of Midnight Mist (neck) 2ac 5str 7mr - farm it in Mistmoore (might be a bit difficult solo until later levels) or buy for 50-100pp
Wolf's Eye Platinum Necklace (neck) 9mr - buy from your local jeweler
White Gold Necklace (neck) 5cha 7mr 7fr 7cr - farm in Lower Guk or buy for 750pp
Split Paw Hide Mask (face) 3ac 5mr 5pr - farm 2 of them in or around Paw
Hollowed Bone Bracers (arms) 6ac 15mana 7mr - farm yourself one or two in Najena
Bone Talisman (sec) 4wis 10mr -
I never see people using this, but it has a nice combination or wisdom and MR.
Shiny Brass Shield (sec) 10mr - farm in CB or buy for 50-100pp
Crested Mistmoore Shield (sec) 10mr 10dr 10pr - long farm in Mistmoore unless the Random Number Generator favors your cause, or buy for maybe 100-300pp

For your cleric:
Bloodstained Mantle 6ac 3str 10mr (shoulders) - farm in Unrest or buy, but people gouge
Sarnak Emblazened Tabard (chest) 14ac 10hp 10mr - farm in LOIO or other sarnaks (see wiki), or buy for...300-500pp?

I was wondering, if I wanted to focus on leveling to 60, should I just invest in wisdom items so I am better for the group?

Based on your post trying to have Pvp fun before 60 is not worth it?

Excellent stuff here, thank you very much.

Despite what various forum tards will tell you, this game revolves around being level 60 and participating in the end game. Or at least high enough to contribute.

My advice is that leveling is so fast, don't invest any decent chunk of cash into stuff you'll replace easily. I'd rather buy like a white gold necklace and an EoE than a bunch of low end wisdom gear. Something like a lumi staff will be something you'll hold onto forever (es vambrace effect is on velious bracers).
