Question on IP exemption
 

According to this section in the petition forum sticky read before posting;

"IP Exemption: This is for requesting to be exempt from the limit of 1 connection per IP Address. You may request exemption if you have more than 1 real person playing from the same IP. When posting for this, please include the account names of every person that will be playing from the same IP, as well as the identities / relations to those players, and please make sure that atleast one character has been created under each account. Please verify the spelling of each account you specify."


Just so I'm clear, my sons' pc needs to be installed with titanium, patched per specs, logged in under his own 99 account, and create a char before requesting the IP exemption?

Can he and I both play while the exemption is being considered?

I have just recently went through this. Yes, make sure to have both accounts made and a character on each account. Not sure if you have to set it up on both pc's prior but thats how I did it.

Then I went and created a ticket, made sure to give all the pertinent information, although forgot to give both our names originally, but then just waited and you should get a response in a couple days at the latest. For the way this server is, I feel I got a response rather quickly, but thats all you have to do.

You wont be able to play at the same time while its being reviewed.

The staff cracks these out as fast as possible. When I did them, I did a batch every week. They may be done at different speeds at this point, but it probably won't be longer then 2 weeks with Eunomia the Exemption Slayer at the helm.

You will not be able to play together until the exemption is completed. Make sure you have at least one character on each account created or the exemptions wont work.

At least with my phone company, it costs a lot more to use your phone as a tether in data. Plus, I'd always be paranoid about getting banned for botting. Better to just use the petition route to create an exemption. Make sure you don't bot...GM's will check up to make sure you are 2 separate people and not an alt tabber.

Do hope they are able to process mine soon. Watching my hubby play right now while I want to log on is agonizing!!
