Is it against the rules to have my wife mule for me?

So I'm on my iksar monk..I often times group with my wife who is also in guk with me, is it against the rules for us to create Troll mules so that we can sell for each other? I wouldn't think so, seeing as we'd still be able to do it even if we did not live together.

The reason for my concern is that someone might think that I was 2 boxing and end up banned one day.

If your wife is actively playing and can pass some field sobriety tests, I see no reason you or your wife should get a DUI.

You won't be able to do it, because you won't be able to log in to both of your accounts at the same time if they share an IP.

However, if you apply for and get an IP exemption then you can make as many mules or other characters as you want, so long as you always have two humans playing them. The moment you log in to your wife's mule "just to do a quick transfer" is the moment the P99 gods will abandon you.

My understanding is if you are signed in on the same IP w/ two accounts. And there is 1 human being controlling both characters. That is dual boxing. No matter how menial the task it may seem, it's dual boxing and could potentially ban both of your accounts. I think when it comes to dual boxing I'd go with "if you need to ask, you probably shouldn't" rule :)

If she isn't controlling her character when you both play I believe you are in violation and I'd avoid at all costs...

I'm newish here but that is my understanding.

I suspect an ip exemption used to run two mules in ec is going to draw far less attention than, say, using that exemption to try to pull off some boxing shenanigans in guk.

But it still is against the spirit of the law, I think.

One person online, one toon online. Even in ec. Suffer.

We are exempted...No boxing shenanigans..too much respect for the project and the devs...boxing is hardly the experience I'm looking for anyway.

Just wanted to put this out there so that we could be clear on this shit.

Nonono, not one person..2 people..Not against the spirit of law...no different than having any other friend/guildie log onto a troll mule for me..but again..tis why i'm putting it out there.

As a monk can't you just use sneak/FD to bank/sell?

I never played one so I am not sure exactly how it works.

I think he means auction sell things.

No I thinbk he means have his wife create a troll so that he can transfer all his loot from guk to her. Then she can go sell and come back and give him the PPs.

Will be fine as long as two people are at the two computers.
