Highkeep guards
 

I was looking to start killing some guards in highkeep with my 31 iksar necro but couldn't find a great spot to fear kite. Is this camp typically a root rot only deal or is there an area I'm missing?

Pretty much root rot. If u fear there's too many NPCs they could agro in the process. The guards are all relatively close to each other, and if they run down to Bosec or worse, Ran Flamespinner you're in for a bad time.

Yeah not the best spot for Necros/Enchanters - more of a Shaman/Monk/Magician spot.

You can fear kite at the entrance so long as you typewriter them. Fear, attack, when fear breaks, pull back to zone line, re-fear. Never re-fear immediately. Always use the lower level fear so it doesn't have too many ticks. Always get them back to the zone line.

Been in high keep since 27 necro. 30 now. Rarely fear unless I'm in the long hallway near Lorton. Mainly just pet tank -> shadow compact -> shock of poison till dead. Quick kills leads to quick medding. Might not be the most efficient but great for afking. Only DoT on random white guards. Works great so far and quick kills is preferred while playing at work.
