Make Your Own Hybrid

Warrior + Necromancer = Shadowknight
Warrior + Cleric = Paladin
Warrior + Druid = Ranger
My point is this: Hybrid classes are neat. But we have only three! Three hybrids ain't enough to put food on the table.
Let's smash together some already existing classes to make more hybrids! Two, three, four, all of them, it don't matter.

I had the idea of a rogue/enchanter combination based on DragonQuest IX's Armamentalists. They'd backstab almost as well as rogues, can sneak and hide just as well as rogues, and can use enchanter spells (duh), but they'd be limited to mail armor, do a bit less damage than pure rogues, and can't mez as well or as often due to a smaller mana pool and not as many spell choices. I got the idea after watching an enchanter groupmate only using mesmerize and meleeing things instead of meditating.

We had beastlords for Luclin, part monk, part shaman... all cop.

I thought hard for about 5 minutes but couldn't think of something that's believable in the EQ world.

Necromancer/bard maybe? Venturing into EQ2 territory there.

bard/wizard or sham/mage for ultimate seafury island hybrid master

I have been running the numbers and I think I've found a way to hybridize hybrids. Ranger/SK.
SK/Bard.
SK....PALADIN!!!

A caster/monk hybrid that uses 2hb and has a bunch of quick cast spells that are mainly AoE orientated... or did I invent bard (which I feel rogue/enc pretty much is as well).

Sidenote: I'd love berserker to be added after velious!

In some ways, Bard is kind of a hybrid rogue/enchanter (although in actual play it doesn't really play like either class).

I had a D&D necrobard once, a Heavy Metal Bard technically. I played Brütal Legend the week before and I got sorta obsess- um, inspired.

Bard is a hybrid of all the classes
