Spells updated
 
Ok i done everything by the guide deleted my AV and turned off everything added the patch and it still says it. i searched the forums i went by everyone guides and i still get this error. i logged out and in 42 times and still same

Did you install EQ to the default directory? There are issues with it being in c:\program files, if you did try moving the folder to somewhere else, such as c:\mynewdirectory\everquest... and see if it works better for you. Don't forget to change your shortcut.

i just tried all that and still saying spells not updated. nothing working and i did what guide said exactly....

Make sure your spells_us.txt file is dated December 2014

i just did a FRESH install and tried the p99 servers still same error. but when i try any other server other then p99 it works just fine.

are you sure that you are launching and working with the right EQ folder? see if the Target path on your shortcut (right click properties) actually matches the EQ folder that you are putting the P99 files in

Temporarily turn off your firewall and antivirus protection to see if it's preventing any communication. Make sure dsetup.dll made it into folder as well

EDIT: ok i removed my AV and readded the p99 files and still Will not work. the dsetup.dll is also in the folder
