Unsure on monk or ranger alt
 

Can someone run some info down? I have a naked 38 monk, no ranger. Monk dps and fd are nice, but ranger looks fun also. I have a 60 chanter but little plat to twink, I'll have to camp most of their gear. The ranger I'd have to camp or quest from scratch, and the monk I could get dalnir gear, camp fbss and buy a peacebringer.

What do u think between the 2? I'm out off by rangers not having much of a niche that they excel at.

Honestly, just play whichever one you happen to find most enjoyable. As I've only ever played Monk, it's really all I can talk about. I dabbled in Shaman a bit, but never really went all out with it.

Rangers can pull with relative efficiency. Lull + Bow = some pretty nifty long range pulls. You have SoW, as well as some okay buffs to through on yourself if you need them.

Monk has Mend, FD, some of the coolest attacks in the game, and fly-as-hell lookin' armor.

I'd have to play a ranger for a while to see if I like it. I don't want to waste time though.

What do monks excel out? Pulling? Lol!

This server is all about FTE no matter what fucking class u are.
Dps? well ranger and monk are both behind rogue. If u wanna dps go rogue.

Stonestance/mend? Weaponshield.

There are no bad classes in this game. Only bad players.
