Heya everyone!

Which class stands a better chance at getting raid spots once 60? (lets say both classes are played with a good amount of skill) I'm liking both classes I just really miss EQ raiding and want back in. Trying to decide which I wanna take to 60 first.

Rogue vs Shammy

Rogue.

Shamans are extremely overpopulated due to soloability. On Velious raids you want 3-4 of them for Torpor heals, debuffs, and buffs. Don't need much more than that.

Rogues however you want 30+ for that DPS that isn't inhibited by mana or contingent on discs being up. Rogues also are extremely easy to level, gear (having epic be a 15/20 with 40% Haste is huge). That being said, I dunno how much gear a merit guild will give you on a rogue as getting gear on a rogue in Velious won't really impact your performance much at all beyond a tad more survivability.

Ogre monk for the frontal stun immunity or uninstall

No one actually wants to play a Shaman for raiding though, so they are rarer.

Europa got plenty, what are you doing to your shamans in BDA? :p
