Noctivagant Blade price

Just wondering how high it's going to get after Velious releases? Or are there better leveling swords for SK's in Velious that might cause the Noc blade to go down in price?

I've wanted to get one for an ogre SK alt I plan to make but being somewhat new to the server I still haven't reached the point where farming thousands of plat is manageable or realistic yet.

The main reason I'm concerned is because of all those millions of iksar SK twinks that will be made after the hybrid penalty is removed. I don't want to have to pay 10k for a noc blade... or even 5k. Will it get that bad?

Sword of Pain is better twink gear. Yes, it's no drop. All you have to pay to get it is price of a WC cap or gate pot.

Should be able to get one around 2k. Definitely a nice weapon if you can't afford Ebon Mace.

There is probably for Every class a BiS weapon for them in Velious other than some of the great Epics. So I would imagine way down the road almost every say Kunark weapon dropping in price.

They won't be giving away Kunark, Classic weapons, but no way they can hold in the long run. :p

There's no reason to believe prices are going to rise with the advent of new content, more and better items, and an increased ability for players to further trivialize older content.

I can't imagine the up-tick in Iksar SKs is going to be so severe that items like the Nocti are going to evaporate from the market either. I spent the better part of three days trying to move mine in EC at a fairly reduced price versus the wiki. All the while I saw no less than four other players also trying to move Nocti Blades. Based upon their own constant /auctioning I'd venture to say supply is well exceeding demand at the moment and will probably continue to do so AT LEAST until even more favorable Velious items begin to trickle into the market.
