IP exemptions.. how long?
 

I've had a petition in for a couple days now without any response. Was hoping to duo with my brother his weekend but that's seeming like a bust. How long does it usually take to get an exemption?

They do them in batches every couple weeks or so.

My "that sucks" comes from me wanting to play some old style EQ1 while my brother was here in town, but since the only 1 IP thing prevents that, and the time it takes for the petitions to go through, I can say "that sucks" at least for me.

But I guess you're right, Ms. Cleo, I am ungrateful and will get banned for something.

-shrug- if your brother is in town, and a week is too long to wait before he leaves, then might as well retract your petition =)

He comes by every so often so the petition is still valid. Would of just been nice to start this weekend, though we'll be able to play when he leaves for sure.

Isux its probably not you buddy these threads just devolve into shit so many times and when people start out by not hitting the search button it grinds my gears.

Being jacked up on caffeine and nicotine coupled with the fact I've been getting shit ever since I came out in '06 probably doesn't help either.

I would say to expect an IP exemption in 2 to 4 weeks.

They're pretty low priority and as previously stated they're done in batches. A lot of people ragequit and make a deal about the wait so they're even more distasteful now.

The last guy claimed that the lack of IP exemption in a timely matter made his wife commit suicide or something...

So yeah, people are gonna auto-hate on you for asking. =P
