dont think AC impacts PVP dmg at all.

I know its a dex vs agi check that has a big impact.. not sure if that is on hit rate or dmg amount. would love to see some devs help us with facts but won't hold my breath.

AC definitely works

there's a clear difference between attacking a warrior and attacking a wizard in terms of average hit

the difference is obvious even just between the rogue/monk examples. those rogues have a lot less ac than zechariah and get hit a lot harder more often.


dex vs agi is just for hit rate.

could have sworn some dev posted a while back about how they still had to fix AC to work in pvp but can't find that post. been playing a damn cleric too long, thx for infoz.

AC for sure doesn't work, properly at least. Weta posted logs of him rounding people for 19 damage.

19 damage? with Paladius Axe Of slaughter. I'm sure Weta's gear is FAR better then Beastagors, his DEX, STR, and ATK are all probably higher, he's swinging a 51 damage two hander against Casters and Bards from my guild (so I'm going to assume they have LESS AC then the casters in Empire ) and he's hitting for 19 damage.

ON THE OTHER HAND

I'm swinging against higher AC targets (assumingly, casters from Empire like Omai, Tamiyo) with less STR, DEX, ATK, and a lower damage weapon but my minimum hit has never been below 22. What's going on.

probably you are wielding a slower weapon which has a higher damage bonus
