Spells file problem on linux with wine
 

I am aware of the stated solution, but I have followed the instructions for preparation in linux.


this is what i'm seeing:

I have unzipped the zip file from: https://www.project1999.com/forums/s...ead.php?t=2651

into "/home/mgooch/.wine/drive_c/Program Files (x86)/Sony/EverQuest"

and I removed

arena_EnvironmentEmitters.txt
arena.eqg
lavastorm.eqg
Nektulos_EnvironmentEmitters.txt
nektulos.eqg

i'm not sure why there is a problem or what to do about this, given I unzipped the files.

I believe I had a similar problem originally and fixed it by tweaking the eqclient.ini, which is posted as part of my linux setup guide.

If this isn't the guide you followed, can you try this one and see if it helps?
