SHARK SKIN GLOVES
 

I have played everquest for many years and in classic everquest as of 1999/2000 era players were able to go to erudin and get a quest for sharkskin (all one word) gloves. They were like:

Sharkskin Gloves
Ac: 8
+5 Sv Magic +5 to another stat
weight: 1.4

i do not know the exact item specs but they were a classic item, where are these? i cannot even find mention of them on ZAM or any classic database. Perhaps in my searches i have missed it but could someone else remember this?

Checked modern and archived Zam and Magelo, I don't see any gloves like that or variations of spelling or quests awarding gloves of a similar type.

Erudin did have quest involving sharkskin, such as Barnacle Breastplate

No, this was EQ1. the ones in EQ2 are a remake of the ones from eq1 but with much better stats

those stats are already much better than any other quested item from erudin, unless we're talkin some high end 45+ questing. Otherthan the sharkskin shield I cant think of these being a classic item, sure it wasnt added with the starting city revamps?

Those stats seem crazy good for a vanilla quest. But I've never heard of them before.

Didn't Vazaelle open after Velious was already out in December 2000?

no Vazaelle was open before Kunark, played there in original content
