At 24, would it be better to run a 23/28 WQS
or Trance stick 7/18 or Cane of Harmony 12/25 with a Stave of Shielding 17/28?

Wu's Quivering staff will win for sure. Once you hit level 28-29 or so and your Double Attack skill hits 150, dual wield in general gets a good bit better since offhand can double attack at this point. That stave of shielding + something in offhand may beat the WQS at that point.

Maybe in 5 levels ill be able to afford an Adamantite Club...lol

Just use Wu's until 30 and then Peacebringer until 50 or your epic.

1handers/fists suck until then.

From my own experience leveling the monk up and parsing the whole time, and also the DPS charts you can find on these forums... From level 30 or so Ada+SoS or dual SoS will out DPS peacebringer while being lighter. Of course they cost a lot more and you get riposted more often, so there's a trade off.

You need a good 2h for small groups and solo, and epic SoS for pure dps. Damage shield is not a friend of a duel wielding monk

Whats a good wep to take the place of epic? gonna be ages before i can manage that...lol

Adamantite Club or another SoS.

There is nothing wrong with Trance Sticks and a Wu's Staff for leveling - 300pp total investment.
