Improved Invis: Not invising to undead

Click on link and go down, click on spell. I thought this spell was an invis and Ivu in one shot. But currently its just a self invis with no ivu added. Pretty pointless as of now.
If you read the comments it confirms it should be ivu and invis in one.

What links where?

The purpose of the Improved lines of invis was that they are fixed duration. Meaning they can not randomly drop on you.

As far as I'm aware they should not function as double invis. In fact double invis stacking probably shouldn't even work.

This spell does NOT work vs undead. It's a fixed-duration normal invis, nothing more. I've had newbie skeletons in Field of Bone see through this spell and smack me as I ran past.

And there's no quest to get this spell in Velious that I know of. It's a Velious spell drop.

So no, this should not be double invis. Just fixed duration invis.

There is an improved invisible to undead spell I believe

iirc, improved invis lasts for EXACTLY 5 minutes or so without breaking. I could be wrong, but just memory.

Duration 10 minutes

I can confirm that on live this does not have an ITU component. It's just a 10min fixed duration invis.

Improved ITU is the counterpart spell for a fixed duration
