King Dain eating Dirks of the Dain
 

Hello all,

I tried handing in the Dirk of the Dain to King Dain today and he simply ate the item without giving Dirk or declaration back. I tried hailing him in his room and on the throne to get any quest dialogue. He doesn't respond to the text "'You can count on my help,' either.

Nilbog, how is the Dirk supposed to be handed in? Is there a flag we're missing due to him not responding to the quest text?

Faction was max ally with no invis or hide/sneak on.

Dain appears to be eating everything, he also devoured my Ring 9 turn in, Ally faction, would not give any speech whatsoever even when handed items

This happened again today to a few people. I put in a petition, but thought I would post here as well. I was actually attempting to turn in 8th ring and box.

tried turning in Dirk of the Dain today while max ally to Dain, ate it, no response, no Delcaration of War given when saying the quest text

Possible issue with the different versions of Dain?
