Shaman and Spirit Quickening
 

By one actually use this spell? Short duration 20% haste with a STR buff. AFAIK STR doesn't do anything for pets. And the haste sucks compared to celerity. And only lasts 1/3rd the duration... am I missing something here?

When I played on Fippy (the time locked progression server on live that started in 2011) it stacked with celerity, then again it also lasted an hour there so it was basically a fire and forget thing.

any confirmation on this stacking? would be pretty badass for woofers to have more haste

It was probably supposed to be "extra" haste, but that's not how the mechanics work, so it doesn't actually do anything but provide some very short duration str and ac.

Short Duration? http://wiki.project1999.com/Spirit_Quickening says 1 hour. I always keep Spirit Quickening up on pet, because it's only 50 mana and lasts 1 hour. I typically then cast Celerity on top of that, and only use SQ for the AC + STR buff. Granted the haste is only 20%, but if I'm lom it's better than nothing.

Duration 6 minutes @L50 to 7.5 minutes @L65

Ah crud, thanks for pointing that out. Glad I farmed the spell instead of paying for it, but wow what a waste.
