It is a dick move, and even though I respected you and enjoyed playing with you while you were in the guild, it has definately gone to shit now.

How exactly is the return of gear enforced out of curiosity?

Someone denying a fact is not exactly proof.

Just saying

have you not seen kavanah around running a casino and whatnot? he's doing the same thing as bob trying to turn a profit. nothing in those screenshots provides any evidence that he is the original owner of the account.
