If GIFV can replace Flash, everyone wins....Any real PC user will tell you, Flash is the only thing to completely destabilize a system on a daily/weekly basis.
Crashes, process jamming, infinite loops. You name it, Flash does it. And not once in a while either, its a GUARANTEE if you leave Youtube/Flash videos open, and Flash websites, that it will destabilize within 24-48 hours and cause jams and eventually blue screen of death (this changes each update, sometimes theres big problems sometimes BSOD is rare but the slow down and jams are more often)
Steve Jobs was right about Flash. That is all I know. Respect to him and peace for telling the truth and taking a stand against bad technology.
If GIFV can replace Flash somehow or limit the need for Flash driven apps then Im happy. |
