MP3 music
 

There was a time when EQ switched over to MP3 symphonic scores of the music. Is it possible to replace the midi stuff with the newer stuff? How do you do it? I know some of the music we here now is the MP3s but its mixed with the midis too.

ok so i DLed the music and dropped it in the directory...nothing
made A folder named music put it in there...nothing

still only plays the midis errr

tried adding the files the eq directory... but the old midi still played. Would removing the .xmi file that corresponds with the mp3 equiv. be the trick?

so I take it from the lack of responses here that there is no way to override the midi music with the symphonic tracks? I see from looking at the EQ directory that SOME mp3s are used and some midi. When I tried the above action (replacing the .xmi with the mp3 of the same name) the music doesn't play at all. I like the tracks in EQ and I find myself turning the music back up but then i enter North freeport and i hear that awful midi I slide the slider back down and /sigh Also what happened to the boat music?
