Undead Bard Mechanic

Undead Bard mechanic:
1) After real Trakanon dies, a placeholder, non-KOS Undead Bard (UDB) spawns (UDB ~18hr [1][2]).
2) You turn in your lute body to UDB, he returns the body, becomes KOS.
3) Kill UDB, Trak spawns.
4) Kill Trak, congrats guts and single Trak BP.
5) UDB spawns again >=12hr later [3][4].
6) Once Trak spawns, UDB despawns [5].
7) Return to step 1.

It's already been implemented, just waiting for the march 2001 timeline update.

Sounds good, and honestly figured as much. But Daldaen suggested so here it is/was. Feel free to close it or whatever.

Aye I felt it was worth a post, good to hear they're ahead of the curve on this stuff. Lots of stuff in March/April patches between epic changes and planar revamps that we couldn't have tested on beta, didn't know how much internal testing was done on it all.

If you want to do a breakdown post like this about the fay trigger it would help. Bard and VS are completed and tested(ish).

Fay will probably be the last one I do before I go back to work.

From memory:

Hand Dwarf in TD Paradise Island the Froglok Essence. De spawns dwarf and spawns Faydedar.

Faydedar spawns in water and paths out towards the tunnel then aggros you.

Dwarf respawns 2 hours later.

Ill get on live to confirm the timing and stuff when I get home.

UDB-Trak can drop any single item from his normal loot table (not just BPs):

The theory is innaccurate.

Sort of unrelated but what is "mage robe"? Are they referring to manna robe (all int lass usable) or does he get new drops added?

No new drops, assuming the Manna Robe.

It's important to mention that spawned Trakanon only drops guts and 1 BP. He doesn't drop teeth, and I'm very confident he doesn't drop spells either.
