NPC "ate" quest items.
 

I was doing the Screaming Mace quest in Crushbone and I gave the Shiny Brass Shield and Dwarven Ringmail Tunic to the Dwarven Smith, then i go speak to the Elven Priest telling him that the king is dead, then I give him the Bracers of Battle, and he gives me the Prayer Cloth of Tunare, but when I give him back the Prayer Cloth of Tunare and Dwarven Mace he just 'eats' them and I can't complete the quest.

If I could get a reimbursment, that would be fantastic.

Couldn't replicate an issue with eating items.

I did rewrite this for multiquest though, pending update.
