1017 error nasty to fix
 

have the amd fx 9590 cpu asus crosshair v formula z edition msi gtx 980 oc gaming series 4gb gpu corsair vengeance pro ram corsair force ssd windows 7 home. tried everything to fix this 1017 everything worked before on the old pc that was amd 8350 cpu similar other components just lower. tried most everything. help would be great.

Not to be the "latest drivers" guy but are all your drivers up to date?

Isnt the 1017 error saying you can't connect? If so and you're on wifi, try plugging in an ethernet cable if you can.

EQ won't run above 4.2 afaik.

does it have to do with AMD catalyst and does it mean i should give up my computer is too new?

nevermind i see, its the newer gpu drivers it seems. hope it can be fixed and if im wrong lemme know plz

ahhh ok i can try unerclocking it but it comes stock overclocked. if it works i will put it out there for others that have this problem with high ghz cpu. my nephew said you do a very good job on p99 he is right, ty man.
