Soulfire - Brilliant Sword
Do you have to have knights of truth maxed to turn in the Lucan testimony? Is killing Lucan enough to get your faction where it needs to be so you get the brilliant sword of faith?
Not sure what your Knights of Truth faction needs to be, but I don't remember doing any factioning beyond killing Lucan. If they give you quest text, you should be good to go.
The Priests of Life faction does need to be very high though. It's easy enough to max, so I recommend doing so regardless. |
I'm pretty sure I maxed my Knights of Truth faction before handing the testimony to Valeron. You will know your faction is maxed when you get the "cannot get any better" message.
To turn in the testimony looted off lucan requires only dubious. The final turn in in paw requires ally.
How about deepwater knights faction for Fiery Avenger turn in? Killing the necros in Toxx is slow going faction wise, how high do I have to get it?
It needs to be high. I'd aim for ally at least if you don't feel like maxing it. If you're not sure, spawn Inte Akera in Sky and do the full quest dialogue with him. If he responds to everything and asks for the swords and the head/robe you're good to go.

Unless you start out below indifferent, one Lucan kill will most likely have you at ally anyways.
This is an eye opener, didn't know howxmuch faction work paladins had to do lol
I can confirm with just inside warmly you can hand in testament, it doesn't have to be maxed
You can do this @ indifferent for sure
