Guards Shouldn't Attack Madmen
 

Currently the guards in Northern Ro are assisting players attacked by madmen.

However, from the hours spent in the zone back in 2000 I remember that the guards did not assisting you with them, as is the case with willowisps. Below are a few posts from Allakhazam saying as much.

Be warned. Guards in North Ro will NOT jump in and attack these guys if you run to them.

They don't attack human mobs

I had a madman chasing me, and none of the guards I ran past (or circled) attacked it.

I know, the guards don't attack Dervs, Madmen or any human forms. I found this out the hard way.
