Don't melee chars max their haste easily? How does this spell work?

Haste cap at lvl 60 is 100%. Most melees will have a 41% haste item and vog which gives them 99%

Ervaj is overhaste, so lets you break that haste cap by 10%, so people end up with 109% haste

I have heard people very insistent that overhaste is not currently in P99. Is this true?

ervaj is not overhaste, it is a haste that stacks with all other forms of haste.

other bard hastes do not stack with casted hastes like VoG. ervaj is able to stack together with it but is NOT able to break the 100% cap. that comes in luclin.

Ervag is good for people that do not have those top of the line 41% haste items. otherwise don't bother with it.

Ervaj is V2 haste.

Every other item / spell in game is V1 haste.

Basically like Catherin says, it'll stack with any other V1 haste.

I think V2 haste will work as a overhaste too though, allowing players to go over the haste limit, but I'm not sure. Thought I'd read that somewhere

Cant break 100% on P99, so Ervag is pretty useless.

Few players have 41% haste outside the large and established guilds. Most don't even have 36%. Compounding it, many Enchanters don't use Wondrous Rapidity. In practice many low-mid range melee end up buffed to 70 to 90 per cent haste. Unfortunately Composition is still little-used because lower-end guilds tend to favor using Bards as mana batteries for their healers rather than for improving their melee damage dealers.

Ervaj also overwrites and blocks all 5 psalms and elemental/purifying rhythms. Only useful on pure tank and spank fights to give rogues an extra 1-2% haste.

ervaj doesn't bust the 100% cap.

Overhaste (haste that can go over the 100% cap) didn't come in until cat bards were around
