Lodizal Camp Rules

I have heard conflicting information recently. Is it now valid/allowed to get FTE on lodizal and kite it around the island while a force is called in to kill it? Do you not need a force present capable of killing in order to claim a mob?

is the exception to this rule if it is a shaman/melee duo? is it allowed to fte the mob then kite it around until slow lands? This is not an accusation, this is strictly to get proper information. I used to do lodi a lot and this kind of thing never would have flown with most others there, but apparently is the norm now. I don't want me, or my guildies, violating any new rule set in place. Has there been any kind of verdict on this?

I dont get why you have to be actively tanking him for it to be considered 'an engage'

Getting him malo'd + snared then trying to land a slow is how you have to duo Lodi which is a very fun mob to duo.

Unless people are literally kiting him to the other side of Iceclad to call in forces.....running around in a small circle near the Icepaw tents doesnt seem that egregious esp if people are actively trying to slow/debuff him then engage when he is properly ready to be tanked.

Does this stand when there is no tank present? Once it is slowed then I assume it needs to be engaged by those present? I understand running from it to land a slow but running it to the other part of the island to "land a slow" when you are really stalling for people to port in seems broken to me. If someone is kiting to slow and doesn't actively have a force in zone to kill it that seems fair game to me to pull off.

Stop trying to compare the banana and apple. Considering there's no duo that doesn't include Shaman in the game capable of handling Lodizal..

yes if a 60 shaman engages solo and kites while trying to malo/slow then its legit.

no if a non 60 shaman engages solo and kites it is not legit

Enchanter + Cleric
Anyone with Puppet Strings + Cleric

Those two duos can likely kill Lodizal I thinks.

No, you can't kite it in circle until you feel comfortable engaging.

If someone engages Lodizal they need to pull it to their kill spot and engage it directly or they are stalling.

If their friends aren't there til minutes later.. The shaman (even if tanking) has stalled.

Intent plays a huge part.

Has Lodizal lost his FTE message?

InfiniteCascade 02-03-2016 12:12 AM

His FTE message bugs out time to time, yeah.
