Windows 7 - 10, problems ?

I have the chance to upgrade to windows 10 from 7. I have a question, has any one else done this ? Will it mess with Project 1999 at all >?

I didn't have any issues but the OS itself appears to be shitty when upgrading

khanable's "hot girl" avatar is the only 1 on this forum in history to work for me

I wouldn't do it. It keeps trying to offer it to me but I am perfectly happy with 7.

No issues with upgrade from 7 to 10 at all (gaming and anything else).

I highly suggest this:

Some call it tinfoil hat stuff, but truthfully there are several information gathering 'things' win10 has and it is shared with 3rd parties. Up to you though.

I have had two issues with Win10 and both were related to drivers.

1. CPU cooler had some software for the Fan, vendor didn't have 8 or 8.1 drivers for quite a while, or 10 for that matter so had to wait for a fix for that.
2. Nvidia driver wasn't updated high enough when I ran the in-place upgrade and this crashed, Windows then disabled parts of Nvidia control panel to stop it crashing... I saw three crashes the day after upgrading and then nothing (as it was disabled) but started to notice performance issues on certain games which were pushing my graphics card to it's limit, upgraded drivers but software was still disabled, was not a big problem but went undetected for a little while.

Unless you have something that specifically doesn't work with a later version of windows I cant possibly see any reason not to upgrade.
