Seen some conflicting information regarding when these went in. The wiki shows the haversack as "Velious content", but I know better than to trust that completely. Is there an official position on this? I did a little digging and found this:

Celestial Essence?

When looking for the classicness of Tradeskill combines check a few things.

1. Does it exist in eqtraders.com Wayback Archives list of recipes

-These are often incomplete but if it's there, it's definitive proof it exists during that era. Pick a 2001 Wayback date. If it is not listed go to #2

2. Do any of the components in the recipe require components only available in later expansion.

3. When are the first postings about the item on allakhazam

4. What items are around its item ID on Lucy.

Two of the sub-combines include Celestial Essence. This is only available in Luclin/PoP (Shadow Haven, Sanctus Seru and PoK). Therefore they are not classic.

How do we know celestial solvent was unavailable prior to a certain date?

I would have to test this out, but I believe Celestial Essence can be made in-game (part of the Coldain Velium Temper recipe). I'll go take a look in SS later for the Celestial Solvent.

Not sure about infused platinum thread. I know you cannot powder gems at the moment.

Yeah ... how are people making Velium Boning for their panther armor, etc. - without celestial essence?

Recipes had to be discovered, and then shared ... It's not as though the patch messages said: here, try this!

You'd be amazed how much information was 'leaked' out by Verant/SoE back in the day. And i'm fairly certain there were programs (hacks) that could mine information from the server.

It's just not velious era man. Luclin at the earliest vs PoP.

I don't think these were actually in game until Luclin or later the recipe was meant to be during Velious(at least rumored at the time) but the purification tablets and other stuff couldn't be combined at the time.


Look at the timeline and it might have been PoP because the earliest posts on Allakhazam is 2002.
