need help getting leather armor from Freeport
 

I want to get some pieces of leather armor for my darkelf cleric. can anyone help me out?

Is there a specific reason you want leather over say banded armor?

There are smiths that will make banded for you for about 1p per AC. It takes about 100p for a full set.

I think vendor purchased leather will cost you almost as much.

If you want something to tide you over until banded, etc you can always hunt wolves for their ruined pelts and make patchwork armor via tailoring. Otherwise you will have to wait for the leather pieces to drop or vendor mine for them.

It's probably a female dark elf. Wants leather leggings for that... mistmoore look.

Hmm... could be the weight aspect. Dark Elves don't have very high starting strength. Or maybe they just can't afford banded?

Stat leather is easy to get at EC, which you are just a zone away from. You'll need plats though. You'll want to sell bone chips, plenty of skulls to crush in the hood. At least that's at some point. You want armor now, make it. Tons of wolves there, get their pelts and stitch them together. Nek is lacking in a lot of things, but tailoring materials is not one of them, by far.
