Iksar bandit lord drops - Resolved by unicorns
Iksar Bandit Lord in WW dropped the bracer of scavenging all the time during original Kunark. After spending a while to get him to spawn he only dropped blood.
|
He's set up to drop bracer/forsaken pariah mask 50%/50%, 65% of the time.
Will need some more details to change it. |

It says "Drops: Bracer of Scavenging" with no "common" or "rare" designation next to it, which seems to mean (just from the general format of this site, from what I can tell) that it will always drop, but this is just speculation. edit: actually ignore that last part; still that website is great though, lots of info. |
Again the PEQ DB (I thought this was the basis of p99? If so why is everything changed unless there is a compelling reason?)
Table: 1 Probability: 100% Multiplier: 1 Item Type Chance Bracer of Scavenging Armor 100% Table: 2 Probability: 50% Multiplier: 1 Item Type Chance Forsaken Pariah Mask Armor 25% Iksar Blood Combinable 75% |

Thanks for the info. That doesn't mean its correct. Almost the only things the same as peq or ax classic are spawn points, and zone lines. Their quests, spells, drop %s, etc etc are wrong. Almost everything will be changed here. |
If the PEQ db was the standard of excellence Kunark wouldnt still be in development. If you expect tens of thousands of changes to be perfect and accurate the first time around, we wouldn't have a need for a beta. I think Swishahouse has a magical world of very unique unicorns that might suit your needs however.
Fixed. Pending update. |
I realize there are tons of errors in those DBs, I had just thought that p99 used them as a starting point and made corrections from there. Or at least used them as a reference, the assumption being that at some point there was research put into those datasets (which would then be classic valid for any non-revamped mobs/zones).
I.e. I'm just confused where the 50%/50%, 65% value came from, and whether similar issues might be in other loot tables which may be harder to check by players (rarer mobs, etc). Kunark looks great! Just curious about the approach I guess |
You should get a copy of their public db, and compare most npcs versus their exact allakhazam information. You will notice its exactly the same.. meaning, robots populated it, or I hope they did.
After changing thousands... of entries, I refuse to recognize that as a reference of something that research was put into. |

I based my game on the peq database with NO changes because its perfect as could be.
