Raising CoV Faction
 

Are Frost Giants the best way to be doing this? I see the wiki says +10 per kill and i'm Threatening atm so assuming im somwhere between -1000 and -900.

This means I'm going to have to kill 90 Giants just to get to 0?

Surely there is a better way?

Anyone have any tips?

Also is the wiki correct with it's Faction set up? the post was from 2011 so I'm curious to know if it is :)

Hang out at the entrance to Kael in WL, not only do groups form there often to faction, the faction hits seem better than inside Kael -- Mg

If you have druid /wiz to port and a cleric to rez you back velium delivery is fastest but at cost of about 5k. that's not including cost of hiring cleric and druid/wiz for 2hrs.

I am a druid and I have clerics on tap in the guild, what is this velium delivery you speak of?

You need apprehensive or indifferent, I think, and Sentry Kale may be on the wrong quest depending on who wanted what from him last. If he's on the wrong quest, you have to kill him to get the right one.

Is that right?

Can you bind/gate? binding at one of the spots and rezing at the other is much faster than porting.

COV is best raised on days Statue of Rallos Zek is in window

the largest nerds of the server will hang around Kael all day killing the giants outside in WL which give great faction - then if you are lucky - Statue will show up and give a huge + CoV hit after you tag him for faction....and THEN AoW shows up which is another huge CoV hit

Literally could be max KOS to max Ally in 1 afternoon of neckbearding with the neckbeards

Once you get to dubious, then I'd hunt mercenaries and turn in their assignments.
