If you are still on the fence on trying Zek.....
 

I've played this server pretty casually and so far it is a blast. If you are thinking about trying it out, just do it.

This server does everything it can to promote pvp.

* Best gear from pvp points
*respawn with gear (pvp death only)
*portals so you can travel to find pvp easily

The single biggest reason I think this server is a success at what it set out to accomplish, is that even if you die in pvp, you still get a point towards purchasing pvp gear.

This means it is better to just fight to the death than to plug...unless you really care about your KDR and run around with 6 nukers.

What this means is, even if you play casually and people get way ahead of you, eventually you will still get your epic and resist gear, and will still be able to pvp on the same level as others.

Don't mind any of the butthurt threads, so far this server is extremely fun and you can get to lvl 20 in literally an hour if you do it right.

for me, the thought of gearing up spending rl time, then having wipe soon is pointless.

hence why Im not playing. and why mad nerds take my names lol

You can max level in about a week, people wanted seasons so they can continue to enjoy the fresh servers.

with the recent lack of dev updates and progress on discord, it seems likely p1999 is going to pass away relatively soon

since the time i registered i've never had the impression that support was at such a low level

then again a lot has happened

I got too much going on ya know both on red99 and rl. Hard to balance ya know.

the struggle is real

It is sad to see people playing on Red/Blue and Zek but these people do exist. If you are playing Zek alone you can have fun putting in a couple 2-3 hour sessions a week.

If you are immersed in Red99 right now then it is definitely not worth it.

exactly whats happening with me. this is good for me right now, catching up from the first 6 months of velious that I lost on r99 so, feels good
