data cab error - help please

Hello , i just got a new computer 2 weeks ago and pulled out my Titanium discs and it loaded right up. The computer had a problem with it so they sent me an exact copy new one. Now when i try to load EQ i get a data cab error. Happened 1 time on disc 1 but has happened on disc 3 4 and even made it to 5 before it data cab 6 error me.
It exits out and makes me start all over and is getting frustrating.
Anyone have any ideas? the disc are not damaged and loaded fine last week on a brand new computer , so not sure why i am having this problem on the same exact (but new) computer.
If this is for sure a disc problem could someone please PM me a legit site.
since the bay of people is down , a legit link to acquire please?

Thanks

ADD : I have the game still downloaded on my windows 10 laptop (not sure if 64 bit though) would there be a way to copy it over using a flash drive?

Just grab the EQ directory from you old laptop and copy to your new computer, change the shortcut if the path changes, and you should be good to go.

You can also try either a) ripping the discs to ISOs and installing that way or b) copying the contents from the problem disc(s) to your hard drive and installing directly from there.

Thanks for the advice,
So can i just plug a flash drive into my laptop than copy the whole everquest file over to it?

On the ripping the disc to ISO i do not fully understand that and i tried to download virtual fox thing last night and could not figure it out.

Yes, you should be able to plug a flash drive in, copy the everquest directory from the old machine, then copy it to the new machine. If the directory path changes from old machine to new machine, make sure you update the shortcut you use to launch EQ.

This process is essentially the one I use to put EQ on any new machine I use.

if you own the discs you can torrent the files with out fear of retaliation, though i doubt they would even bother coming after you. Always make sure you scan the game for viruses and such though. Or do the flash drive thing.
