Can't get to char select from server select
 

Hello. I recently downloaded the patch for EQ PVP - Zek server and now can't seem to log on to Red 99. After I click on the server to select I keep getting dropped back to the initial login screen. I didn't think I downloaded anything that would affect getting to char select. I am not really sure what is going on, any quick suggestions before I go through a full reinstall?

Are you able to get to Blue 99? or is it limited to Red 99?

I'd like to preface this by saying "I really don't have any idea what I'm talking about."

In my very simple brain, this might be similar to when we were testing Velious, and needed two EQ folders on our computers. One would be patched for the current p99 server and the other for Velious beta.

Maybe you need two EQ folders with different installs: one for p99 and one for Zek?


At the very least, someone will probably come along and explain how this is not it at all! :)

I had this problem last night, Got booted off then exactly what you said. The only fix for me was rebooting my PC, was frustrating as i was in a really good group ><
