Regarding Narandi's Lance
 

I know the patch yesterday (early AM 4/26) added a required level 55 to Narandi's Lance: "Nilbog: Narandi's Lance has a level requirement of 55. Club of the Ice Ocean has a level requirement of 51."

While trying to sell the item in EC yesterday evening (dinnertime/evening 4/26), someone sent me a tell suggesting I am selling for too cheap, because the item is now a 38/45 (the one I was selling was from long ago and is 44/45) per the lance from Awakened's successful Ring War last night. The lance I was selling was advertised as a "pre-nerf" Narandi's Lance for many hours. Around midnight, after 7 hours of having a confirmed 44/45 Narandi's Lance, I logged over to help someone with a transfer. 2 minutes later, I log back to the EC mule to continue my efforts to sell the lance. Someone sent me a tell asking about the nature of the "pre-nerf" in my advertisement, and I responded that all the lances prior to the patch are 44/45, but any dropped since the patch will be 38/45. He was confused, because the one I am selling shows at 38/45. The 44/45 lance I was trying to sell all night was super-ninja-nerfed in the 2 minutes I switched characters to help with a transfer.

Now, after concluding that all 44/45 lances are nerfed to 38/45 lances regardless of pre- or post-patch, a paladin in the guild confirmed (and linked) his lance as 44/45 this afternoon. This was in lieu of logging on, logging out, un-equipping, or dying and having to re-equip.

I guess I just want to know what the hell is going on here..

sounds like a retroactive fix to correct era but more nerfing is required

All the lances are 38/45 until ~October2001, where the stats will be increased to 44/45.

I noticed this also. Will we see the 44/45 ratio again on p99 servers? Maybe bank this item till it's worth using.

IMO more 2handers should have much worse ratios for a few more months.
