Remove all raid rules

What happens if you just remove every raid rule, remove variance and just let the mobs spawn in at their appointed time?

The raid that does the most damage wins it?

Seems like a much easier idea than all the BS that goes on in this game every night.

And customer service can take the night off.

Do this or make all raid zones PVP, much more classic than all the bull on blue.

Come to Red instead?

And I mean this seriously. I am new and naive to Everquest, but red server has been pretty fun so far. Had some good leveling groups in crushbone after some guy teleported me there. I assume guilds can crash another guild's raid and fight for raid control. We just need more people to make the server even better.

Problem is there are way more raid capable players/toons than there were on live in velious era. No variance=low cost of participation= everyone is gonna be on spawn point doing dumb shit.

Full variance +-7 days, with random repops. Just make rules simple: don't train, don't stall, don't ninja loot...if you're caught and it's obvious you eat a serious suspension. Only the hardest of hardcore will track for two weeks straight, and you'll probably get some raid mobs up for more than 5 minutes cause people were tracking something else. Hell you could probably let people poop sock still with full variance...wonder if whole armies would be perma logged in at vulak

Red has had more than 1 raiding guild for about 10% of it's existence.

I play on red already. Raided once on blue and it was the biggest waste of time in my entire life. 5 hours sitting in Plane of Hate waiting for a spawn.

Way too many toons has been a problem since the inception of this server. It is very unclassic and there are some solutions, but the current one is probably the worst one.

If only Red had a couple hundred more like you.

And if only all of us had started up about 2 years ago.

I hope you stick around. We'll see if Red can become something awesome in the future.

Full variance - from server up as well
No training - No Stalling - No Ninja looting
Clear to mobs
Wipe it clean - 2 fresh blue servers at velious

Oh bullshit.

If there is a "problem" on this server it is player base knowledge. Folks hit this incomplete server with internal encyclopedias of learned know-how.

And don't you remember the server populations in live during the first few years? It was NOT uncommon to log in and see a number well over 3000 next to your server name. And there almost still seemed to be enough room. How can that be?

We didn't know shit back then and just enjoyed the time in the game world. Goals were secondary and that dissipated the population across the server world.

We don't have a majority of that here. We know too much.

Yep, everyone just follows the herd. We're told we must raid here and get the best pixels available. I think I spent most of Velious on live leveling my first shaman after giving up my wizard.

By the time that happened and I'd done some "lite" raiding...Luclin was released, no joke :o
