I guess maybe not the fact 1 chromosome is different, but taking hormones will absolutely cause gene expression to begin in the opposite direction. Anyone with any understanding of how gene expression works would at least realize you are bending and changing your DNA expression.

So yes, you can change genetics. There are also many drugs being developed exactly for the purpose of gene therapy. Nothing to do with gender changes though.

I'm far from a supporter of LGBT. More of a hater. Still a scholar. Here is a helpful link if you want to have any fucking clue of what you are talking about in the future.

Your precious Y chromosome is nearly nonexistent since the turn of the Industrial age. Its lost almost all of its genes on average since 1905 to 2010.

Guess it won't be a determining factor in anything, and probably already isn't.

By one estimate, the human Y chromosome has lost 1,393 of its 1,438 original genes over the course of its existence
The dunks.

Quote:

In the terminal stages of the degeneration of the Y chromosome, other chromosomes increasingly take over genes and functions formerly associated with it. Finally, the Y chromosome disappears entirely, and a new sex-determining system arises.[13] Several species of rodent in the sister families Muridae and Cricetidae have reached these stages

Unlike Michelle Obama, I am not. Ever notice Michelle's man hands? hehe the longer ring finger and shorter index finger? At best women have same length fingers between the two, but typically is the longer index finger. All the body proportions of a man by body segments. Then the broad shoulders three lengths of Michelle's head width that only men have (3 full lengths shoulder to shoulder tip). An adam's apple, reduced but still visible. Then a bulge where that other thing is hah (or shouldn't be) when the cup isn't working just right.

Curious how Daywolf feels about his Y chromosome going down the tube.

Are you suggesting we begin genetic selection starting with Michelle Obama to save the male gender?

Like I said, it sure is interesting watching them try!

Stick to the YouTube comments, no one here cares.

I don't understand your question... are you suggesting someone can change their chromosomes? Even just hiding the physical-proportional fact of gender structure is impossible without severe-severe deformation which would be very noticeable in itself. But to change trillions of cells is probably a little beyond our science at the moment. Check back next week?

Doesn't matter how I feel feels, that's just how it is. Science isn't some hokey religion, ya know? I know a lot of people treat it as such, put theory before fact for scientific fundings sake, for social constructs and trending political points, then inundate us with psychosis level propaganda through media everywhere (e.g. news, tv series, music etc), but in the end a male is still a male no matter what when it comes to our human condition. It's an absolute.
