Levitating in East Freeport gets you stuck
 

At some point near certain rooftops, you become locked into a X/Y/Z constraint that makes no sense.

In other words, you get locked in an invisible box above the zone. Happened to me twice now, only way to escape is to ask a porter to get stuck with you.

Yep, I have had this happen on the rooftops of East Freeport. With no corpses to hit and no way to pull mobs through the invisible walls, I couldn't OT hammer out. I had to get ported.

Try auto attacking but visualizing that you are cutting a cord.

Next time you get stuck up there let me know and I will be more then willing to lend you a hand getting off that roof.

Shadow step didn't work, /rewind didn't work, could not LOS hit any NPC with song or melee to agro so I could use OT hammer.

No porters were available (/dial a port seem to be largely MIA with Kunark having just been released on Green)

Managed to get a hand from a Guildie who levitated up and we duel'd so I could OT Hammer out.

I mean this is totally classic, I remember getting up there with my enchanter in 99 and thinking I was cool until I got stuck on a wall somewhere. I had gate so no harm done but I learned my lesson not to go exploring like that with a char that couldn't gate out.
