Gorilla shot and fatally killed. Child falls in to zoo' s enclosure. Crim charges?

I personally believe the zoo should have a better design to keep small children from falling into enclosures. The parent of course is at fault , but seeing how there are a ton of dumb parents in this world... I feel it really was a accident , despite my distaste for the gorilla dying. Shit if my kid fell into the enclosure I would've jumped in regardless.

LOL INC some racist comment from someone because the child is black like a gorilla

Parents should be held responsible. No one has fallen in in 38 years until these mouth breathers came along. This isnt even about animal rights or any of that just personal responsibility.

This is like the case of the 2 kids left in cars in Mississippi the last 2 weeks. One was a black man the other a white woman who did the same thing. People were upset the black guy was in jail and the white woman wasn't so they let the black guy out. WRONG ANSWER keep them both in jail the negligent pieces of shit.

The child didn't fall in the enclosure, it climb a 4ft rockwall and then over a barrier fence. The amount of time it would of took to do that an a parent not notice doesn't make it an accident.

As far as shooting the gorilla that sucked but the tranquilizer darts take to long to kick in and even though the gorilla looked to be protecting the child, he is a big animal and sometimes doesn't know how fragile a child is.

If your kid fell and you jumped in you would both be dead, don't be a hero let the professional do their job.

If you watch the film

Very beginning man gets attacked by a Gorilla. He stands his ground the Gorilla get's phased. As you can see this is a viable strategy when facing a Silverback Gorilla.

yeah but a dumb kid is dumb, also, should seriously have known better than to climb into a cage with a giant fucking insanely strong animal

i remember visiting the zoo and being reminded that if the gorillas felt like it and got even the tinyest bootyhurt at me they could rip my head off and i should respect them and not be dumb

I agree the parents should be held accountable for this too. Criminal charges wouldn't hurt. Let them argue their parenting in court in front of a jury of peers, manslaughter and destruction of property seems appropriate, sure that gorilla was worth a lot, and the feels would sting for those parents, maybe they would re-think their lives and try to do something about the bad shit they did - they might be less likely to let more kids crawl out of their vaginas and into gorilla enclosures, might even advocate for better more responsible parenting and birth control at some point
