Cyndreela and gem drops
 

Didn't see anything about this on a quick search. So...

Cyndreela, in feerot, dropped gems on live. Used to farm her mid 2000 for exp and gems.

Don't believe she dropped anything crazy, same stuff as seafurries i believe.

Killed her a few times a few weeks ago, dropped gems and jewelry. I think its fine, just not 100% of the time.

Well, if it's on her loot table already I guess I just got unlucky when I was killing her. I remember the rate being much closer to seafurries, however. But, like I said in the first post, It's been a few years.

Her drop rate for gems and research pages 'n words is certainly lower than it was on live.

Take it from me, no one's killed her more often on p99 than i have. It's a decent camp to restock bone chips on, thanks to the 3 roaming dry bones. anything i get from her is a bonus.

But yeah, her drop rate of anything useful is pretty abysmal, considering on this server she has absolutely ridicuous MR compared to live. Fearing her is a 50/50 proposition, and i average a darkness "stick" about every 4th cast. Probably the only mob on the server you have to fear kite without snare, since snare hardly ever sticks.

Probably the only reason i'm the only one that ever kills her outside of prepping for a fear raid.

On live, Wizards use to 2 shot her with ice comet.. On p99, that's a sheer death sentence with her uber magic resistance.

Do i have anything to link using wayback to prove her MR is stupid and her drops aren't close to scaling to her live classic counterpart? Nope..

BUT.

I can say this: on live she was camped 24/7.. On this server there's a million 50s fighting over solo hillgiant and seafury spawns.. And Cyn remains untouched until i zone into Feerrot out of boredom. There's a reason for it.

I used to farm her with a wiz. it's true. could kill her while she was summoning pet, with no threat of getting hit. unless you had a resist(rare)

lol all her resists are high, not just MR. :P

Lowered her resists and made her loot slightly more common.
